I have something over two million word roots at the moment, and am working to try and narrow down that list to something more manageable - say, ten thousand or less. Here is a very small snippet of that two-million-plus list of word roots:
...
"embeth",
"embedh",
"embes",
"ember",
"embel",
"emben",
"embeg",
"embec",
"embeh",
"embip",
"embib",
"embim",
"embif",
"embit",
"embid",
"embith",
"embidh",
"embis",
"embir",
"embil",
"embin",
"embig",
"embic",
"embih",
"embap",
"embab",
"embam",
"embaf",
"embat",
"embad",
"embath",
"embadh",
"embas",
"embar",
"embal",
"emban",
...
Wow. That pretty much covers every possibility of a 2 syllable word starting with "emb", doesn't it? Any idea how you're going to go about narrowing it down?
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of phonological constraints I'm working on now, which will narrow down the number of possible consonant combinations, and greatly shrink my current word-root list.
