Hmmm... seems like I've said that before. I do have a new world map, part of which has become the background for this site. There are even a couple of Easter eggs in the image, which astute observers may notice. Feel free to comment below if you find them.
Incidentally, this image was produced using Inkarnate, a web-based mapping app. I purchased the Pro version which provides tons of additional textures and objects, as well as producing much higher resolution images. For someone like me who has a few creative impulses but lacks drawing or mapping skills, this is a fantastic tool that I cannot recommend highly enough.
The book proceeds slowly. To be honest, I'm rather behind my self-imposed deadline. The good news is that I've been able to free up some personal time which should enable me to start getting caught up. We'll see how that pans out. I have been known to be a bit optimistic at times in the past.
