Open Source Elvish! Elefdar Mini-Lexicon and Grammar

I've mentioned before that I was thinking about releasing the Elefdar / Elf language in some kind of open source format. I've decided to use the Creative Commons license and release everything I have so far... well, everything worth releasing at this point. This would include a document describing the grammar and syntax, and also a small lexicon containing the words I have developed thus far in the writing of Balfrith's story. I have tons of additional notes and working files, but they wouldn't make sense to anyone but me.

So, here it is. The first 147 words of the Elefdar language, with notes. Link.

Also, the grammar document. Link.

Every bit of Elefdar used in the Balfrith story follows the grammar, syntax and lexicon in the above linked documents. And the language will grow with time, as I write more stories and create and use more Elefdar words and phrases in them.

Also, I am open to input from anyone else who wants to use the language, help it grow, play around or whatever else you might want to do. Feel free to comment here, or if you would like to email me directly, send to "thurianknight AT gmail DOT com".

If you release any works based on this, you need to ensure that appropriate attribution is given, and any derivative works must be released under the same or similar license per the requirements of Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 4.0.
